Tarso Marques, the 20 year old Brazilian who has driven for Minardi at the Brazilian and Argentinian Grand Prix, has tested the Arrows-Hart today at Magny-Cours as part of Bridgestone's on-going tyre testing program. He completed 39 laps without incident nor mechanical problems. Jos Verstappen also drove a few laps and will continue testing on Thursday.

As a test and development program will be conducted in Japan concurrently to the one in Europe and so as to avoid over-loading the team's regular drivers, Jos Verstappen and Ricardo Rosset, it is envisaged that Marques will be entrusted with much of the Japanese aspect of the schedule.
