Test update: Yesterday the Prost team continued testing at Magny-Cours with their development AP01b. Olivier Panis was pleased with the improvements on the car, easier to drive and less nervous. Olivier has also tested a new version of the Peugeot engine. Today Jarno Trulli has taken over the wheel of the Prost.

Ferrari is continuing it's test session at Fiorano. The team test driver Luca Badoer started the test session on monday. Yesterday Eddie Irvine took over from him and Michael Schumacher starts testing today. Badoer tested new components and tyres and has completed 174 laps on Monday and Tuesday. Eddie Irvine tested a new seating position and completed 53 laps doing so, lapping a best time of 1:02.859.
