Jos finished yesterday the two days test session at Silverstone with the Stewart team. During the first day, the track was very wet. Jos drove a total of 38 laps running on heavy fuel. Besides Jos, the Brazilian Luciano Burti from the Stewart Formula-3 team was testing electronical parts. For Burti it was his first test in the Stewart SF-03.

On Thursday, Jos made great progression. The team had developed a new differential, which is a great improvement to the car. Last week, Rubens Barrichello did the first test which showed the already it's potential. Jos drove his fastest lap in 1:27.0. His comment to the question if the team had found the weak spot in the car, was as followed: "It's not that we found the weak spot, but it's more that the team is making great progress in development. We almost drove the fastest lap of this season at Silverstone where we should keep in mind that the conditions were not ideal yesterday. We will use the new differential during the last Grand prix this season in Japan, so I am certainly looking forward to it with great confidence".
