Red Bull Racing presents RB15 on 13 February

Published on 05 February 2019 by Kees-Jan Koster

The team of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing announced that it will present the new RB15 on Wednesday 13 February.

The car in which Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly will drive their laps in 2019, will for the first time be powered by a Honda engine, the brand which the Frenchman already gained some experience with last year at Scuderia Toro Rosso. After an encouraging year with the team from Faenza, Honda will supply engines to two teams, for the first time since re-entering Formula 1 in 2015.

It has not been announced in what way the presentation will happen, but it is highly likely that the first pictures of the new car will be published on the internet. Last year the Red Bull Racing RB14 was presented in a camouflage-livery, after which the car sported the regular livery during the first test in Barcelona. The team from Milton Keynes has not announced if something similar will happen this year.

From the 18 of February the RB15 will be extensively tested on the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where there will be eight days of testing, prior to the start of the first Grand Prix on 17 March in Melbourne.
