Today TWR Arrows has, as we stated before, announced its technical package for 1997. For the next season TWR Arrows will be using the V10-engines of Yamaha. The current OX11A-engine, now used in the Tyrrell, is, with a weight of 98 Kg, known as the lightest of all F1-engines. Besides that TWR Arrows has announced that they will be using Bridgestone tyres for next season. Both announcements don't really come as a surprise. The names have already been linked to TWR Arrows a thousand times but now it is official. Some sources had speculated that the team would announce its other driver, next to Damon Hill. This wasn't the target of the press conference and the name has indeed not been announced. As soon as more is known we will publish it as soon as possible. When an announcement is to be made about Jos' contract for 1997 we will be the first to publish it. All options for Jos are still open.
