Max invited for rookie test by Renault Sport Technologies

Published on 18 October 2013 by Johan Peeters

In the guise of the World Series by Renault, Renault Sport Technologies offers the most effective driver development programmes and a springboard to Formula One. Further proof of that will come at the end of this season, when motorsport's brightest young hopes will be invited to take a seat in the Formula Renault 2.0 and the Formula Renault 3.5.

Just as it does every year, Renault Sport Technologies will be allowing twelve drivers to get a feel for the Formula Renault 2.0. On October 21th up-and-coming drivers will get behind the wheel of the Formula Renault 2.0 when the curtain falls on the season's final WSR meeting at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Making up the lucky dozen will be the top two racers in both the Formula Renault 1.6 NEC Junior and Formula Renault 1.6 Sweden, the five frontrunners in the French F4 Championship as well as the Protyre Formula Renault champion and two karting drivers. One of these drivers will be Max Verstappen.

Max will test for KTR again

On Monday October 21th Max will test for the KTR team again. On October 10th and 11th he already tested for the Belgian based outfit at Hockenheim. After some really impressive performances during his first meters in a race car, all eyes will be on Max during this one day test.
