Jos present at " Race against Aids"

Published on 22 July 2002 by Huub Rothengatter

Last Sunday Jos Verstappen and Raymond Vermeulen had a good day at the Zolder circuit in Belgium. They attended the charity event "Stop Aids Now Race", a part of the monies collected will be divided between various projects of this association.

There were races in various classes and an old Benetton Formula 1 car was on display.

As a matter of fact it was Jos's Benetton which caught fire during the Hockenheim Grand Prix back in 1994. Jos was very busy with signing autographs, answering questions and having his picture taken. The organisation, Jos and Raymond were very pleased with this successful day.
